Al and Ann Smith
Allen Smith is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America. He has over forty-five years of gem and jewelry experience with a background in gemstone faceting. Allen was recently awarded two US patents for special diamond cuts. Al is also a Senior Charter Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.
Ann Smith, Al’s wife and business partner, is a retired teacher and color consultant. She has diplomas from the GIA in diamonds and pearls and tries to wear as many gemstones as possible.
Together Allen and Ann offer educational classes in diamonds and birthstones. They are often invited by various groups as guest speakers to talk about Virtual Jewelry Designing, diamonds, colored gemstones, and appraisals.
